In addition to working on the upcoming record, dynamic frontwoman Sabina Sciubba will be featured in the new FX series “Baskets” starring Zach Galifianakis and produced by Louis C.K. The show premieres January 21.
Comprised of four globetrotting members (none of whom are Brazilian and only one of whom is female), Brazilian Girls formed in 2003, getting their start with weekly shows at the New York City club Nublu. Singer Sabina Sciubba was born in Rome and raised in Munich and Nice; keyboardist Didi Gutman is from Buenos Aires. Bassist Jesse Murphy is from California and drummer Aaron Johnston is from Kansas City. The band has released three studio albums and toured extensively worldwide.
