JASON ALDEAN AND PAT MONAHAN TO PEFORM AT COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME® AND MUSEUM’S ALL FOR THE HALL NEW YORK FUNDRAISER

Benefit Concert, Which Also Stars AFTH Founder Vince Gill and Emmylou Harris and Special Guests, Will Take Place at the Best Buy Theater on February 26

Mezzanine Tickets Will Go on Sale on Saturday, February 2, at 10 a.m.

Superstar Jason Aldean and Train front man Pat Monahan will perform at the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum’s All for the Hall New York fundraiser on Tuesday, February 26, at the Best Buy Theater, museum officials announced today. The event, which will follow a “guitar pull” format, will also feature performances by Country Music Hall of Fame members Vince Gill and Emmylou Harris and special guests.

Additionally, tickets for mezzanine seating (for the performance only) will go on sale on Saturday, February 2, at 10 a.m. eastern time. Tickets, priced at $200 and $150, can be purchased at the Best Buy Theater box office or on Ticketmaster.com. A limited number of VIP tables and floor seats are still available for purchase at $1,000, $10,000 and $25,000 levels; table purchase details are below.

With more than seven million records sold and 10 #1 hits under his belt, award-winning entertainer Jason Aldean recently released one of the year’s most buzzed about new albums, the platinum-certified Night Train.  The album’s lead single, “Take A Little Ride,” spent three weeks at #1 and its second single, “The Only Way I Know,” featuring Luke Bryan and Eric Church, is currently climbing the charts.  The Georgia native has solidified his stadium headliner status with four sold-out stadium shows set for this year including the University of Georgia’s Sanford Stadium, Wrigley Field and a two-night stand at Fenway Park.  Additionally, Aldean’s first show at Madison Square Garden, set for March 2, recently sold out in less than 10 minutes.   The 2013 Night Train Tour begins February 21.  

Pat Monahan is the lead singer and songwriter for the multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning band Train. California 37, Train’s fifth studio album, features the double-platinum hit “Drive By” and platinum hit “50 Ways to Say Goodbye,” and new singles “Mermaid” and “Bruises” (the latter tune, featuring Ashley Monroe, is currently climbing Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart). Train made its mark on music history with the hits “Meet Virginia,” “Calling All Angels” and “Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me),” and earned its third Grammy in 2011 for the worldwide smash “Hey, Soul Sister” from album Save Me, San Francisco. All for the Hall New York offers a unique opportunity to see these acclaimed singer-songwriters interact with one another as they take turns swapping songs, stories and personal recollections. The “guitar pull” is a Nashville specialty; it originated in the homes of Nashville songwriters who gathered to try out new compositions for their peers. Nashville’s most storied guitar pulls were hosted by Johnny and June Carter Cash. The hallmarks of a great guitar pull are spontaneity and camaraderie.

The museum launched All for the Hall, its first-ever non-bricks-and-mortar fundraising campaign, in 2005. The campaign addresses the museum’s need for long-term financial security and will provide a safety net for the institution and its work. This is the sixth time the museum has taken its “annual giving” event on the road, hosting previous All for the Hall events in New York in 2007 and 2008 and in Los Angeles in 2009-11.

All for the Hall New York patrons are offered their choice of tables of ten for $25,000 or $10,000.  Individual tickets are available at $1,000 per seat.
