HEADLINING SHOW IN LOS ANGELES TONIGHT

Breakout Los Angeles based rock band The Shelters perform their Alternative charting single “Rebel Heart” as well as “Liar” on “Last Call with Carson Daly.” Watch their performances HERE and HERE respectively.

Most recently, the group released two of their favorite cover songs: “Really Wanted You,” which was written and originally performed by Emitt Rhodes, and “So Get Out,” originally performed by The Surfaris. These songs are often included in the band’s live concert performances but are now available on all digital platforms. Listen here: http://spoti.fi/2j8NTRQ

In addition, the band will conclude a year of extensive touring with a headlining show tonight at Los AngelesThe Echo.

The band’s self-titled debut album—out now via Warner Bros. Records and co-produced by their musical hero Tom Petty—has received critical praise. Paste proclaims, “The band’s sound successfully marries elements of ‘70s and ‘80s rock and roll with a modern flair,” while NBC’s SoundDiego furthers, “[The] LA-based foursome who released a staggering gem of a debut album last year chock full of blues- and British Invasion-inspired jangle pop.”

All songs on The Shelters are written by band members Chase Simpson (vocals, guitar) and Josh Jove (vocals, guitar).

The Shelters are Simpson, Jove, Sebastian Harris (drums) and Jacob Pillot (bass).
