This month, León made history as the first Latin Artist to play both Stagecoach and Coachella in the same year, and was honored with a key to the city by Coachella Mayor Steven Hernandez and the City Council. His second Coachella set featured surprise guests Kane Brown, performing the duo’s widely celebrated hit collaboration “The One (Pero No Como Yo,” and legendary Mexican Rock band Molotov, performing their classic songs “Puto,” “Frijolero” and “Voto Latino.”

“The One (Pero No Como Yo)” was praised by Billboard for “sublimely [merging] regional Mexican and country,” and the Tennessean described the track as “blending León's multitude of Mexican influences while Brown sings over sections of the song crafted to mimic tropical house-style grooves drenched in classic reggae vibes.” The duo premiered the track in a live performance at the Premios Lo Nuestro in February, watch the live debut HERE and listen HERE.

In February, León achieved a major career milestone with his debut performance at Nashville’s iconic Grand Ole Opry. Watch his “My Opry Debut” video HERE. ABOUT CARIN LEÓN
