ETHEL CAIN LIVE
LARGEST HEADLINE DATES YET FOLLOW UK AND EU RUN
Cain is fresh from a run of shows in the U.K. and Europe including Primavera Sound in Barcelona and two sold out nights at London’s famed Roundhouse. Further dates this summer include Lollapalooza and All Points East. This fall, Cain will support Mitski on a handful of shows including Red Rocks and Austin’s Moody Center. See below for full tour routing.
Cain’s continued touring caps off a whirlwind few years for the vocalist, songwriter and producer. Her debut album, 2022’s Preacher’s Daughter, is one of the most acclaimed of this decade with The Guardian, The Ringer, Paste, Crack, Billboard and more naming it one of the best of that year.
Florida-born multidisciplinary artist Hayden Anhedönia is the architect behind the world of Ethel Cain. After years of releasing various projects at home in the panhandle while teaching herself to produce, she moved to Indiana and singlehandedly wrote, produced and mixed her EP Inbred from the basement of the old church where she lived. Released in 2021, Inbred received widespread acclaim.
Cain’s debut album Preacher’s Daughter, a multimedia work that took more than four years to assemble, was released in May 2022 to praise from The New York Times, Vogue, NPR, W Magazine, V Magazine and more, with many critics naming the album one of the best of the year. Cain then embarked on her first ever headline tour playing sold out shows across the U.S., Canada and Europe; walking in New York and Paris fashion weeks and collaborating with Givenchy, Miu Miu and Calvin Klein; and closing out the year opening for Florence + the Machine in Denver, which led to the wide release of their live duet performance of Florence’s “Morning Elvis.”
Cain continued to tour around the world in 2023 including performances at Coachella, Outside Lands, Reading & Leeds, Roskilde, Rock en Seine, among many other festivals and headline shows in the U.S., Mexico, Australia, and Europe. More from Cain is imminent.
