INTRODUCING OBED PADILLA

NEW SINGLE “DO YOU STILL LOVE ME?” OUT TODAY VIA BIG FAMILY

August 8, 2025—Emerging artist and Oceanside, California native Obed Padilla shares a new song, “Do You Still Love Me?,” today, via Julian Bunetta’s Big Family—listen here. An official music video will follow on Monday.

Obed says:

“‘Do You Still Love Me?’ means a lot to me. Mikky Ekko and I started writing it in Nashville while I was going through a rough breakup, and I finished it later with Afterhrs and Julian Bunetta. Every part of the song came straight from what I was feeling in that moment—I think anyone who’s loved someone but couldn’t make it work will feel something. It’s not only about heartbreak, it’s about all the changes I was facing in my life at the time that made me ask myself, ‘Does my family still love me? Do my friends still love me? Does my girl still love me?’”

“Do You Still Love Me?” comes on the heels of Obed’s latest single, “Broncos y Benzes,” released last month, with more music from Obed imminent.

Anchored by his Mexican and Costa Rican roots, Obed Padilla’s genre-obliterating music weaves influences ranging from his pastor father’s hymns to Kid Cudi, Jack Johnson and The Beach Boys. Obed’s deeply personal storytelling and singular sound have captivated millions on tracks like “Brown & Down Freestyle” and “Chicano Poetry.”

Last year, Obed made his festival debut at Austin City Limits and put out his much-lauded EP, They Told Us There’s 2 Types of Mexicans. With new music on the horizon, Obed cements himself as an innovator within the Latin Alternative space. His unique union of influences and cultures continues to resonate around the world.
