RISING COUNTRY ARTIST BAYKER BLANKENSHIP DEBUTS NEW SINGLE “MY TRUCK, SOME WEED, AND A GUITAR”
July 3, 2025—Rising singer, songwriter and musician Bayker Blankenship’s new song, “My Truck, Some Weed, And A Guitar,” is out now via Santa Anna; listen/share the track HERE. BAYKER BLANKENSHIP CONFIRMED TOUR DATES
EXTENSIVE TOUR UNDERWAY INCLUDING DATES WITH
49 WINCHESTER, WHISKEY MYERS, GAVIN ADCOCK AND MORE
Of the song, Blankenship shares, “We was just chillin in the studio and we was talking about some of our favorite things and I ran to my truck to grab my weed and my guitar and I come back in and my producer had the melody going and in thirty minutes we wrote this banger of a song. I hope you guys enjoy it just as much as I like playing it for yall!"
Written by Blankenship, Nick Bailey and Brett Truitt, the new song adds to a breakout year for the 20-year-old, who was recently named to Billboard’s 21 under 21 list and made his national television debut on CBS Mornings’ “Saturday Sessions” following the release of his 2024 EP, Younger Years, which garnered over 4 million streams in the week of its release. The EP features his hit “Maxed Out,” which earned RIAA Gold certification in just nine months, reached to #2 on the Spotify Viral chart and has surpassed over 180 million streams to date.
Following the EP, Blankenship also released “Jailbreak,” recorded in collaboration with Waylon Wyatt, and his recent single, “Thinking of Me.”
Born and raised in Livingston, Tennessee, Blankenship taught himself to play guitar while in high school, eventually sharing cover songs online. His standout voice and authentic storytelling quickly drew attention, earning early praise from major outlets including CBS Mornings, who called him “one of country music’s fastest rising stars,” while Holler noted that he has “cemented himself as an act to watch.”
Blankenship will continue to tour throughout the fall including dates with Whiskey Myers, 49 Winchester, Ole 60 and Gavin Adcock among others. See below for full tour itinerary.
