TANNER USREY SHARES NEW VERSION OF “RUN RUN RUDOLPH” TODAY November 14, 2025—Acclaimed country artist Tanner Usrey shares a new rock-infused cover of “Run Run Rudolph” today—listen/share HERE.
THESE DAYS TRACK LIST
ACCLAIMED NEW ALBUM THESE DAYS OUT NOW
VIA ATLANTIC RECORDS
Of the song, Usrey shares, “‘Run Run Rudolph’ is just a lighthearted, good-time kind of Christmas song, pretty much the polar opposite of the twisted ballad ‘26th of December’ we released last year. We’re finishing up our headline tour soon, and I wanted to keep the rock ’n’ roll energy going into the holidays and have some fun with a classic cover.”
The new song adds to a breakout year for Usrey, who released his acclaimed new album, These Days, via Atlantic Records earlier this summer—stream/purchase HERE.
Produced by Grammy Award-winner Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell) and recorded between Nashville’s historic RCA Studio A and Cobb’s Georgia Mae Studio in Savannah, the album features Usrey’s most personal work to date. Across these ten tracks, Usrey showcases his unique country-rock sound while delving into vulnerable topics such as mental health struggles, the highs and lows of relationships and his own self-reflections.
Critical acclaim for Usrey and These Days…
“Usrey’s voice was what first endeared him to the Texas crowds in the early 2010s…He can sing with a country twang or hold a long blues note, and do both with his extensive vocal range.”
—Rolling Stone
“Fort Worth-beloved country performer Tanner Usrey is who your favorite outlaw-style country artist turns to for music that sounds like dusty gravel being spewed from under their truck tires” —The Tennessean
“with his deftly powerful songwriting and booming vocals, this Texas-bred Southern rock inspired sound is on full display in his latest album…These Days is undoubtedly some of Usrey’s best work yet”—Whiskey Riff
“showcases Usrey’s soulful vocal range and aims to capture the intensity of his live performances”—Country Central
“his tunes are both raw and radiant – a juke box hero for a new age”—Nashville Lifestyles
“Not only is the collection vulnerable and exposing, traversing topics like mental health struggles and relationship strains, it makes for one hell of a barn-burner”—Holler
“stellar vocals”—Wide Open Country
“a masterclass in vulnerability and self-reflection, marking his most confident and striking vocal performance to date” —All Country News
“solidifies Usrey as one of the most powerful voices in modern country rock”
—Soundlink Magazine
“Usrey still kicks with a fury that amps somewhere between the heavy influence of the Allman Brothers and Drive-By Truckers, but also leans fully into the power of his soulful roar that can at times rival Chris Stapleton”—Austin Chronicle
Reflecting on the album, Usrey shares, “Ever since I started recording music, I’ve wanted to make a record with Dave Cobb. He’s done some of my favorite albums by huge influences of mine like Whiskey Myers, Chris Stapleton, and of course Jason Isbell. Getting to see how Dave’s mind works and building this album with him was such a great experience, to say the least. I think this album captures the sound that I’ve been going for since I started, and really pushes my voice in a way that I haven’t before, which makes the band and I that much more excited to play it live.”
With his raw energy and timeless sound, Usrey is quickly becoming a standout in country music. Continuing to garner widespread attention, he has amassed over 340 million streams to date, performed countless shows across the country, had his songs featured in hit shows like “Yellowstone” and “Landman,” and released his full-length debut album, Crossing Lines, in 2023. Of the record, Whiskey Riff declares, “Tanner Usrey is a star on the brink of shooting across the sky…The gritty southern rock and roll sound combined with his Texas red dirt roots and earnest songwriting is a combo that absolutely rips,” while Holler calls it a “vivid, all-encompassing and, most notably, distinct album.”
A native of Prosper, Texas, Usrey was drawn to music at an early age. Raised on the sounds of Alan Jackson and Garth Brooks, his musical journey took a turn when his brothers introduced him to the Red Dirt scene. It was then that he discovered artists like Cross Canadian Ragweed, Wade Bowen and the Randy Rogers Band.
